Rio came to us from Deq. And Lija. Upon his arrival, we discovered that he was diagnosed with equine lymphangitis!
We nursed him back to health and he is currently being shown in Hunter breeding 4 yo class and doing pre-green hunter
division. He is doing very well despite what we’ve come from. We weren’t sure that he would be able to show at
all, but he’s done a marvelous turn around.
Update: January 2009: George has been working with Rio on moving
up to Pre-Green Hunters and has shown interest in the new division. They are showing great promise to be one of the top hunter
pairs in HL this year!
