What an exciting year it has been! HWA
shows started out slow this year, but are steadily increasing with more activity from new players! I am happy to announce
that I now have SKYE of Serenity Stables on the EXCO with me. She and I are working closely together to update the HWA’s
website.
SHOWS- Coming up this month, Magnolia Hills sets the pace with an all discipline/all breed show that is the week
of Amy’s 40th birthday. That show is scheduled to begin on October 15-21st.
On November 10-13,
DEq. Has their Fall Harvest show. It is also a multi-discipline/multi-breed show scheduled in Colorado at DEq.
On December 4-10, 2009, we head back to DEq. For their Welcome to Winter show. It is also a multi-discipline/multi-breed
show scheduled in Colorado at DEq.
That will wind up the 2009 show season. Shows will be held monthly
by the HWA. Skye and I have decided to alternate hosting the HWA shows. More details will be available soon. So keep checking
back.
Do you have horses registered with the HWA? Are you just interested in western disciplines? This is the place
to check often for association updates, EXCO job opportunities, upcoming features, and anything else you'll ever need to know.
It's the HWA News page.
Here's what we've got:
We're all set for the 2010 season! The first show is undetermined as of right now, but be sure to check the events
forum for the latest events! With the new season comes the need to re-register. Please remember to fill out the required information
and send it in BEFORE you send in your entries. This will cut down on work when doing the show entries.
Do you love western? Wish you could get more involved in the game? Want to learn more about western disciplines?
Why not join the HWA EXCO!?! You'll help to develop new programs and provide more information to the Hay!Land players. There
are positions available with Amy and Skye, E-mail Amy if you're interested. We'd love to have you!
If you find any problems (broken links, scattered HTML fragments, etc.) please E-mail Amy so that she can fix it. Thanks for your help!
We're in the process of updating all of our records. If you see a horse on the registered horses page that should
be registered under your name, if you notice that your barn initials are not correct, or if your e-mail address has changed
please e-mail Amy to correct the mistake. To update a horse we'll need their registration number, their name, your name, your
e-mail, and your barn initials so make sure to include it in the e-mail. Horses listed without owners or barns are those who
we know the owners have left the game. If you now own one of these horses make sure to update.
