Registering Horses

The HWA has acknowledged the difficulty of maintaining accurate, up-to-date registrations for so many western horses in Hay!Land. Therefore, the HWA EXCO has decided to edit the way in which we do registrations.

The cost of the registration is a one time fee of $100 per horse. This money will go towards our Year End Awards. This fee is for a lifetime. You pay it once and that's it!

You will simply submit to Amy separate from the show entries, the following information:

Horse's Name
Breed
Owner's Name
Current E-mail
Barn Name & URL
Check

I  or Schuyler, will then enter this information into a database and create a form with the registered horses so far. That form will then be posted on the web site for members to see. We are going to go back to registration numbers. Keep in mind, you only need to do registration once! Once you complete this task, you only have to enter additional horses you acquire.

Change of Ownership

Our new system makes it easier to keep records current and keep horses listed under their current owner. However, if you buy/sell a horse during the HWA show season it is still important that you let us know so we can update our records and award prizes to the correct owner.

The buyer of the HWA registered horse  will complete the form and then submit the following:

Horse's Name
Registration #:
Previous Owner
Previous Owner's E-mail
Previous Owner's Barn Name & URL
New Owner
New Owner's E-mail
New Owner's Barn & URL

If you have any questions on how to fill out change of owner or registering your horses with the HWA please email Amy or Schuyler and we will get back to you As Soon As Possible.

If you have any questions, or would like to join me on the EXCO, just email Amy.
