ADULT
CHECKUPS & VACCINES
Tempest 3C- Was seen on 7/28/09. Reports are listed at the website.
Irish Eyes- Her teeth were filed as well. They weren’t as long as we had thought to
begin with, but she did well with the filing we had to do. She’s in great health; a little on the small side for her
age, but there nothing that a little bit weight gain supplement wouldn’t help. You can check out the feed store at BEq
to read more about their supplements.
Havana- Has a slight cold. She appears to have a slight cold. Her temperature was normal
but there was some clear drainage from her eyes and nose. It’s common this time of year, especially in Virginia, so
I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. She just appeared to
not be feeling well, and we didn’t want to force her to do anything. We bypassed the normal CRI we do for all horses
and will catch that on another visit. I did check her legs and they are fine. She does have 4 new steel shoes and her hooves
were filed. She did well with this part of the exam.
Private Stock- You can view the reports on him by the link above. No problems
noted.
Hawk’s Autumn Flight- There were no problems with her during this exam. You
can review the reports by the link above.
SENIOR
CHECKUPS AND VACCINES
Cheval- Was seen on July 28, 2009. View his reports on the website.
YOUTH
CHECKUPS AND VACCINES
Adonis- He will have to have his teeth filed on our next visit. He has a cold; We didn’t
want to traumatize him with filing his teeth when he just wasn’t himself. I’ve seen him on a couple occasion at
DEQ since he’s staying there while Amanda was away. He wasn’t running a temperature but he had a discharge from
his nose and eyes. It was a clear discharge. We didn’t do the CRI because just wasn’t feeling up to it. He does
have 4 new steel shoes and his hooves were trimmed. He did well with this part of the exam.
All of the rest of the horses were fine. There were NO other problems. If you’d like us
to further investigate these horses that were listed, just let us know.
DEq. Dante’s Café- Dante is a good girl. There
were no problems noted on her exam. You can view the detailed reports by the
link above.
All horses received their new shoes, and all had their hooves trimmed. They were good boys and
girls.
